I had to purchase this book for a class and wow!, it has made the class much more enjoyable than I thought it'd be.This book gives you the basics of sociology and what I like about it is that it'll explain something in sociology-terms, but gives you examples that you can relate to and understand. Instead of me skimming through the book to find key words and taking notes, I found myself wanting to read the entire chapters because it really is enjoyable and I was able to learn from it.
